How do I set up and operate Yombu?

Before you launch Yombu at your business, we will send a Yombu employee to your location to ensure an easy and seamless integration into your business. If you are outside of our typical service area, we offer video or phone consultation to walk you through each step of the setup process.

Yombu is convenient, fast, and secure. With Yombu, you can literally pay naked. Leave your cash, cards, and phone at home. No more fumbling with your wallet at point of sale. Paying with your fingerprint ensures enhanced fraud protection, and you can never lose it!

How do I sign up?

You can initiate sign-up in-store or online at www.yombu.com. If you begin by setting up your account online, you will still need to go to the store to complete the sign-up process and register your fingerprint. Fingerprint registration only takes 30 seconds – you simply swipe your debit/credit card at the Yombu terminal, scan your fingerprint, and choose a 4-digit Yombu PIN. That’s it!

Do I need to sign-up with Yombu at every store that uses Yombu?

No. You only need to sign-up for Yombu once, and then you can Yombu everywhere it’s accepted.

How do I pay?

Payment is a breeze. Scan your fingerprint. Enter your PIN number. Paid!

How do I change my payment information?

Download the Yombu mobile app from the

Log in to my.yombu.com, where you can manage your account.

Is it secure?

Yes. Yombu does not store the image of your fingerprint in its database. Rather, we store an alphanumeric representation of your fingerprint via one-way encryption. It is impossible for anyone (including us) to re-create the actual image of your fingerprint with this data.

Yombu also does not store your debit and/or credit card information. Rather, Yombu has teamed with Worldpay for the secure storage of your payment data: http://www.worldpay.com/us. Worldpay is a large payment processor with more than 165,000 merchants in the U.S.

Is it free?

Yes. Customers will never pay anything to use Yombu.

How do I manage my account?

You can update your account information, add and delete debit and credit cards, and manage your account through the Yombu mobile app or our customer portal at my.yombu.com.

How do I earn Yombu rewards?

Every time you pay with Yombu, you are automatically earning rewards.
