It’s amazing to get your children involved with literature, especially the legendary Winnie the Pooh stories by A.A. Milne. This beloved character has been made into a live action film, proving that it’s a family favorite. So, here’s How To Throw A Winnie The Pooh Themed Party and add a touch of nostalgia to your child’s birthday.
1) Beautiful White Balloons (clouds) + Bounce House
Winnie the Pooh seems to often have his head in the clouds, pondering something wise beyond his youth – so having tons of beautiful white balloons clustered everywhere to represent white clouds will add a whimsical feel to your party look. Balloon Specialties does exactly what you need and it will look amazing. Add to that our favorite white bounce house by San Diego Bounce Events and its a dream come true. If you aren’t keen for so much white, mixing it with a lovely pale yellow or blue will look amazing too.
2) Winnie The Pooh Cake
Winnie the Pooh loved a good jar of honey, but we’re pretty sure he’d love a cake that looks like honey too. Honey Crumb Cake Studio – no pun intended – in Seattle does beautiful novelty cakes and can put together a stunning, yummy cake for your Pooh Bear inspired party. Because they’re so awesome, they’re in high demand, so book asap! Dewey’s Bakery is also a beloved neighborhood bakery that can create memorable and delicious sponged nom for you.
3) Winnie The Pooh Cake Pops
This deserves its own section, for sure. Cake pop popularity (cake pop-ularity?) is on the rise. It’s extremely satisfying to have these delish bite sized bits of cake heaven – and you can get them made in any theme imaginable. Our Winnie the Pooh Party is no exception. Our favorite bakeries that make gorgeous Winnie the Pooh Cake Pops include: Forever Sweet Bakery and Sweet Boutique Bakery. For a DIY Winnie the Pooh cake pop recipe, check out Poetry & Pies. Your dessert table can be a representation of the 100 Acre Wood with pretty bee-inspired cake pops and other forest themed critters and greenery. Stick the cake pops in plant pots with fake greenery (or real, if you have). These bumble bee cake pops by a Taste To Remember are soooo adorable.

4) Winnie the Pooh Decor
Perhaps a single red balloon here and there! Pooh loved red balloons. Having a few red balloons weighted down along the center of the dining table will add a lovely center focus – mix this up with beautiful pastels, like blue, yellow and green. Rachel J Special Events can help with cute event styling like at this Winnie the Pooh 1st Birthday. Party supplies can also be found on Amazon.
5) Winnie the Pooh Party Games
Yombu has professional entertainers and party game coordinators that can guide the children through Pooh themed activities like Pin The Tail on Eeyor, or Musical Pooh Chairs, Tigger Jump Rope and a Pooh Corner Craft Center. Booking them is really simple and requires only a few steps that take only 2 minutes. You can manage everything online from your Yombu account, simply and conveniently.
So, let’s gather at Pooh Corner for a whimsical good time, love, laughter and memories. Yombu’s on the side of fun, and helping families have special events that carry happiness throughout their lives like that cheery red balloon and sweet pot of honey. We hope that our tips on How To Throw A Winnie The Pooh Themed Party will help your journey feel a lot less stressful and that you’ll have time to enjoy the sunshine on the way.

For me the Bee Cake pops in plant is such a cool idea. Children love to explore and it will give them much more fun to see resemblance of nature in that lovely cake. I always plan ahead how my kids birthdays are going to be and every year is a new challenge. I am grateful you have been offering great advice and service.
Totally agree they are really a great idea for a Pooh themed party.
The bee cake pops in a plant pot is such an adorable idea! I also love the idea of incorporating a pop of red with balloons, from my experience children love them and it’s a budget friendly option for party favors. My little guy still has a ways to go before his first birthday, but I’m definitely bookmarking this as future inspiration.
Much appreciated Shanice, wee love the Bee Cake Pops ideas as well. 🙂
