What entertainment works best in a backyard?
Almost everything — that's the joy of it. A magic show makes a great scheduled centerpiece, while face painting and balloon art run as drop-in stations around it. If space is tight, a single roving entertainer beats a staged show.
What does the entertainer need from me?
Very little: a flat spot, shade if it's hot, and for face painters, a small table and two chairs. Ask when you book — every pro will tell you their exact setup, and most bring everything themselves.
What happens if it rains?
Have an indoor fallback (garage, porch, living room) and tell the entertainer about it — pros move the show inside all the time. If you need to cancel outright, the cancellation policy is shown clearly before you pay.
How many kids can a backyard party handle?
A typical yard comfortably hosts 10 to 20 kids with one entertainer. Beyond that, add a second station (face painting plus balloons is the classic pair) so the group splits naturally instead of mobbing one line.
