Kids Party Venues in Columbus: 10 Great Spots

The science museum on the Scioto riverfront, a short walk west of downtown, and the default answer across most of the age range this guide covers. Three hundred-odd hands-on exhibits inside a 320,000-square-foot Arata Isozaki building, a dinosaur gallery and Ohio's largest planetarium. Very little of it needs an adult to explain it first, which is the quality that counts once you have fifteen children through the door.

Birthday bookings are private-room packages: two hours in a room of your own with food laid on, plus an admission wristband for every guest aged two and up. Reservations are arranged in advance. Read the house rules first — COSI's own list bans confetti, piñatas, helium balloons and costume characters outright.

Inside Easton Town Center on the northeast side, and written for three to ten specifically. Miniland rebuilds Columbus landmarks out of a million and a half bricks, and around it sit two indoor rides, a 4D cinema, a Great LEGO Race virtual reality experience and open build stations.

Three party tiers, all built around a private LEGO-themed room with a host: an hour at the base, a private mascot meet-and-greet in the middle, and at the top a second hour, a build session with a Master Model Builder and a take-home model for every guest. The catch is the floor. Parties need a minimum of twenty guests and cap at forty-nine, so a small, tight guest list does not work here.

The newest big room on this list, and the reason a lot of Columbus round-ups now read as out of date: 35,000 square feet on Bethel Road that opened in November 2024 in the shell of the old Cinemark cinema. Trampoline courts, a ninja warrior course, a ropes course, foam and ball pits, climbing, dodgeball and a full arcade.

It is the closest thing on the northwest side to a party where nobody has to plan a single game. The park takes its party bookings through its own site, and the attraction list it publishes is not broken down by height rule — so if a four-year-old cousin is coming, check what they can get on before you promise it.

A waterless slide park on Polaris Parkway, open since June 2025: 38,000 square feet of slides taken at genuine water-park speed with no water anywhere, plus an air court built for parkour landings, climbing and basketball. It is the most novel venue here and the one your guests are least likely to have had a party at already.

Parties run two hours with the play time and the table time overlapping, come with a reserved table or a private room and a shared host, and are built around the birthday child plus nine guests. Send two things out with the invitations: everyone going past check-in needs a signed waiver and a wristband, parents included, and the park's grip socks are compulsory.

The Polaris trampoline park, and a refreshingly plain one — main court, extreme dodgeball, a battle beam, the Orbit, the Gauntlet and a zip line. The argument for a trampoline birthday has not changed in a decade: the venue is the entire activity, nobody has to run games, and the children reach the cake already spent.

Jump packages come in sixty-, ninety- and two-hour lengths, each with a reserved party area, a dedicated host, pizza, refillable drinks, grip socks and cleanup done for you. Two useful outliers sit either side: a Little Big Air party built around five guests rather than ten, handy for a small list, and a three-hour Cosmic Night party on Friday and Saturday evenings for older children.

The east-side option, out on East Livingston Avenue, and the only venue in this guide that is not in the northern half of the metro. It is a good deal more than trampolines: alongside the ProZone and APEX courts there is a ropes course, a Leap of Faith platform, climbing walls, the Sky Rider indoor zip line, a DropZone, a warrior course and a tubes playground for the smallest guests.

That spread is why you would choose it over a plain jump park — a mixed list of six- and eleven-year-olds will not run dry in the first half hour. The catch is that access is sold by height rather than age, with a separate pass for anyone under forty inches.
