Kids' birthday freebies, answered
- What birthday freebies can kids get?
- 8 of the 12 offers we've checked work for a child by the chain's own rules, including Starbucks, Build-A-Bear, Chipotle, Krispy Kreme, Panera and Cinnabon. Each one sets a minimum age to join, shown in the catch column.
- Can a child have their own rewards account?
- Yes, at 7 of these 8 chains, including Starbucks, Chipotle, Krispy Kreme, Panera, Cinnabon, Cold Stone and Auntie Anne's. At the other 1, a younger child can't hold the account, and the table shows each age rule.
- Do kids' birthday freebies last the whole month?
- Some do: 2 of the 8 offers we've checked run for your whole birthday month. Of the rest, 4 last a set number of days from when they're issued, 1 is for your birthday itself and 1 doesn't say.
How we check these offers
- Yombu is not affiliated with these brands. Names are used only to describe each offer, and no logos are shown.
- Offers are set by each chain and can change or vary by location. We only report what the official pages say, with the date we read them.
- We re-check every offer each quarter and again every January.
- Spotted a change? Tell us and we’ll fix it.
