One caveat matters more than any other here, and it is not on most round-ups. This museum is leaving 800 West Wells Street: it closes in 2027 and reopens in the Haymarket as the Nature & Culture Museum of Wisconsin. If the birthday is this year or next, the address above is right. If you are planning further ahead than that, check where the museum actually is before you print the invitations.

The south-side trampoline park, on 76th Street, and the most complete jump venue in the metro: freestyle courts, an air court, SkySlam, ultimate dodgeball, a drop slide, a warped wall, free climb, SkyJoust and a ninja warrior course, plus a soft play area for guests too small for the rest of it.

The argument for a trampoline birthday has not changed. The venue is the entire activity, nobody has to plan games, and the children arrive at the cake already spent. Packages come with a private party area, a host, invitations and the supplies. Every jumper needs a signed waiver, so send it out with the invitations rather than queueing to sort it in the lobby on the day.

Everyone needs a signed parental waiver and closed-toe shoes.

One of only about thirty indoor 400-meter speed skating ovals in the world, on 84th Street, and a US Speedskating training facility — which makes it a considerably more interesting place to skate than a shopping-center rink. Two Olympic-sized sheets sit inside the oval.

The party covers skating admission, skate rental and ninety minutes in the Pettit Party Zone, with food by tier.
